ASUS Introduces the PA246Q ProArt Series LCD Monitor

ASUS has introduced the PA246Q  ProArt Series LCD Monitor for India. It has a P-IPS display which reproduces 98% of the ADOBE RGB color space. It also has a rotating screen which is 100% scaleable. ASUS claims that the display is so vivid that it will display almost the entire color spectrum of a photograph taken with a DSLR camera.

ASUS today announced the PA246Q ProArt Series monitor, a 24-inch LCD monitor with a native resolution of 1920×1200 (16:10 aspect ratio) that features a P-IPS panel with wide colour gamut, reproducing 98% of the Adobe RGB color space, and a 178° wide viewing angle. The PA246Q has also come with the ASUS-exclusive QuickFit Virtual Scale and a highly adjustable stand to enhance users’ productivity. DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D and D-sub inputs are included for easy connection to multiple devices.

Color precision of the highest level

The P-IPS equipped PA246Q reproduces 98% of the Adobe RGB color space, allowing it to accurately display almost the entire color spectrum of a photograph taken with a DSLR camera. The monitor also comes with a sRGB mode so that images meant for display on web pages will be shown as intended. The PA246Q is capable of displaying 1.07 billion colors, which is sixty-four times more colors than most conventional displays. Each PA246Q is also calibrated to minimize the color difference to Delta E less than 5, guaranteeing industry-leading color accuracy.

QuickFit Virtual Scale – One-click away for realistic scale measuring

The ASUS exclusive QuickFit Virtual Scale provides real size document, photo and grid formats on top of open windows. It enables a real-sized preview of finished artwork with a simple press of a hotkey.

The PA246Q comes with numerous built-in ports for easy access to external devices and media. DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI and D-sub connections allow for a wide range of products to be displayed on the PA246Q. Picture-in-picture multitasking capability also allows users to view images from different signals.
