MediaTek Helio X20 Facing Overheating Issues
It looks like MediaTek’s top of the line offering, the Helio X20 is already running into trouble. This Dec-Core beast which comes with the promise of never before seen power on a smartphone will allegedly bring along with it more heat than it can handle.
The SoC much like the 810 is being accused of producing too much heat, and if industry sources are to be believed, it could be overlooked by manufacturers in the coming months just like the 810 initially when Samsung turned it down because of the overheating issues it brought along with it.

Reports also suggest that the Helio X20 has done so poorly in its trials with phone manufacturers when it came to managing its thermal outputs that it has already been rejected by HTC, Lenovo, Xiaomi amongst others for their upcoming phones.
Needless to say, all these are just murmurs for now making their way to and fro across the trusted land of Internet, so waiting for something official before sounding the X20s death knell is highly recommended.
