Huawei launched its flagship phones Huawei P10 and P10 Plus, along with the Huawei Watch 2 at MWC 2017.
Both the Huawei smartphones run on the Hi-silicon Kirin 960 chipset with an octa-core processor and Mali-G71 MP8 GPU. The Huawei P10 has a 5.1 inch IPS-NEO LCD display and 1920 x 1080 px resolution. On the other hand the P10 Plus sports a 5.5 inch WQHD display. While the Huawei P10 has 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, the Huawei P10 Plus is available in two variants. One has 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal memory and the other one with 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal memory. Both the flagship phones will have an expandable storage of 256 GB.
The Huawei P10 has a “Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 Pro edition” setup. The camera setup has 2 sensors – a 20 MP sensor for monochrome imaging and a 12 MP sensor for regular shots. Both are supported by a 4-in-1 auto-focus system and OIS. The Huawei P10 is powered by a 3200 mAh battery, while the P10 plus has a lager battery capacity of 3750 mAh, both of which support “SuperCharge”, which is almost comparable to the latest Quick Charge.
Huawei also launched the Huawei Watch 2, a successor of the Huawei Watch, at MWC 2017. The new Watch offers 4G connectivity, without being connected to a phone, via a SIM or eSIM. The Watch also has a GPS, heart rate sensors, and NFC for Android Pay.
The watch will be available in two models, one with WiFi only and one with LTE, both have an IP68 design and offer up leather and silicone straps. Huawei claims that the Watch 2 will initially be launched in Spain, France, Germany, Portugal, China and Italy, this month. The Huawei Watch 2 has a 1.3 inch display with a 390 x 390 px resolution with 4 GB storage, out of which only a limited part will be available to the users. The Huawei Watch 2 will be powered by a 420 mAh battery. And will start selling at 329 € ($347/ Rs. 23000 ) depending on features and model. No details on availability in India.
