Samsung Galaxy S8 in Glossy Black Seen in Pictures, May Have 6GB RAM
Another Samsung Galaxy S8 leak is here, leaving rather little for us to anticipate. A post on a microblogging website has revealed seven pictures of a glossy black Samsung Galaxy S8.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the two flagship smartphones that Samsung is expected to launch this month. The Samsung Galaxy S8 duo is expected to be unveiled at an event in New York City on March 29. Previous leaks have given us a detailed insight of what to expect from the Samsung Galaxy S8 duo.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature a 5.8-inch QuadHD+ curved Super AMOLED display with a 2560 x 1440 px resolution. It is also expected that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be equipped with a camera that supports dual pixel technology and has 4K video capturing capabilities. Also, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset, given that Samsung placed the largest order for it.
Since the battery mayhem buried the Galaxy Note 7 in the ground, the Samsung Galaxy S8 has designed an 8-point program to ensure battery safety. The Galaxy S8 along with its counterpart, the Galaxy S8 Plus, is expected to support Qi wireless charging. Just like the rumored Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and iPhone 8, Samsung Galaxy S8 is also expected to stay away from physical buttons. The fingerprint sensor, as the leaked pictures suggest, has been placed next to the rear camera. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 duo will feature the Google Assistant as well as a new virtual assistant called Bixby. Much like the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7, Samsung Galaxy S8 duo will also come with an iris scanner.
Another leak on the Chinese microblogging website has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S8 might be available in a 6GB variant. The post by Kevin Wang, however claimed that this variant will be China-specific.
The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus is expected to have a global release on April 28.
