Jabra has just launched the new Drive car bluetooth speakerphone, for making those important voice calls with ease while driving. The Jabra DRIVE automatically pairs up with two mobile devices simultaneously (Multiuse™ Technology), allowing drivers and passengers to stay in touch with family and friends while on the road and in compliance with hands-free driving laws.

Th unit offers echo and noise cancellation (using the DSP or digital signal processing) and automatic Volume control. DRIVE also features a voice guidance system that announces battery status and Bluetooth® connectivity and large control buttons for volume and on/off .  With  a stated 20 hour of talk time and an impressive 30 days of standby time, the Jabra DRIVE seems worthy for those who drive a lot.

The unit is available today with a price tag of Rs. 3999, and we are trying to get hold of one for a review.

The Jabra DRIVE also features A2DP technology which allows users to stream music from their smart phone or Bluetooth-enabled MP3 player, podcasts, directions from GPS applications etc. Whether it’s a phone call with dad, the latest hit song or directions to a soccer game, Jabra DRIVE transmits clear audio with ease. Our broad line of in-car speakerphones offers something for everyone and at every price point. The introduction of the Jabra DRIVE represents an affordable option for all types of uses – specifically, moms looking to keep their hands on the wheel, eyes on the road, and ears tuned into family life.”
