New Delhi, May, 2012:  Staying indoors to beat the heat this summer just became the preferred choice, in the company of Sennheiser’s first ever specifically designed Xbox® gaming headsets X320 and X2. Gamers can now get immersed in the virtual world of gaming with the perfect headsets from Sennheiser to assist gamers in not just hearing what’s happening around them even before they can see it but also communicating effectively with teammates or opponents alike. The Xbox gaming headset has been honoured with the 2012 Red Dot Design award. The detailed smooth surface and green aluminum ring, as well as the great sound and comfort, convinced the independent jury of 30 international experts that the X 320 is product design at its finest.

“We are extremely proud to announce the launch the international award winning the Xbox® gaming headset in India to offer the best gaming experience for consumers” said Kapil Gulati, VP Sales & Marketing-Consumer Segment, Sennheiser India. The headsets’ technology is based on expertise gained from Sennheiser’s best selling gaming headset series in the world- the PC gaming series. The Xbox gaming headsets also includes new features specifically developed for Xbox gaming. The X 320 features Sennheiser amplified stereo sound which boosts the Xbox 360’s audio experience and pro-noise cancelling microphone which ensures that only the gamer’s voice is heard; thereby making them ideal for gaming at night. The dual volume control lets gamers independently adjust the game’s audio and voice of fellow players. The innovative automatic microphone mute allows gamers to mute the microphone by raising just the boom, thus eliminating the need for buttons.

In addition to developing outstanding design and gaming sound, Sennheiser has also managed to make the X 320 very comfortable. The open-acoustic design that keeps the head cool for hours of gaming, Sennheiser-patented CircleFlex™ ear cups and the ear pads that rotate and adjust automatically make the gaming experience a comforting thrill.

The cost conscious gamer can also indulge in great gaming experience with the durable, lightweight and robust Sennheiser X2 gaming headphones. The precise speakers and noise cancelling microphones not only ensures easy and effective communication with teammates or opponents during an exciting game but also upgrades the audio quality to Sennheiser sound. The single-sided design allows one to hear the game’s audio on the TV while chatting via Xbox Live.
