iBerry has officially launched two new Android tablets in the Indian market, the Auxus CoreX2 3G and the Auxus CoreX4 3G in India at a price of Rs.10,990 and Rs.15,990 respectively.
Auxus CoreX2 is the lighter of the two tablets in terms of specifications, and sports a 7-inch HD IPS display that has a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor and Maali 400 GPU coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device also gets a 3G SIM slot, which not only enables 3G data, but provides voice calling capabilities as well.
The Auxus CoreX2 has a 2 megapixel snapper at the back, while it also gets a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera which can be used for video calling. The tablet comes with 8GB of internal storage, which cab be expanded by up to 64GB using a micro-SD card. To keep the tablet up for long, it houses a 4,100 mAh battery as well. Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the Auxus CoreX2 comes at a price of Rs.10,990.
Announcing the launch of both these tablets, iBerry said, [quote] When the current Indian tablet PC market is flooded with price-driven tablet PCs, we take immense pleasure and pride to announce the launch of India’s 1st dual-core CPU and quad-core CPU based tablet PCs, both with inbuilt 3G SIM slot for calls and Internet. Now, the Auxus Core X4 is the meatier of the two tablets and comes with quite impressive, top of the line specifications. The tablet features a 9.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. Powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos processor, the tablets also gets 2GB of RAM with Mali 400GPU. Just as the Auxus Core X2, this device also has an in-built 3G SIM slot which enables both data and voice calling on this device.
As for the camera, the rear of the Auxus Core X4 houses a 2 megapixel camera while there’s a 0.3 megapixel camera, just like the Auxus Core X2, at the front. Now, with such super-impressive specifications, the only downer with this device is that it runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, which is confusing as it’s younger sibling comes with Jelly Bean.
Nonetheless, the device comes with 16GB of internal storage, with a micro-SD card slot for storage expansion of up to 64GB.The Auxus Core X4 comes with a monstrous 7,200 mAh battery. Mighty impressed with the specifications? Shell out Rs.15,990 (Yes, that low!) and this tablet can be yours!
