I own a Gionee Dream D1 mobile since 3 months, i am fully satisfied with the performance of the mobile, 2100mAH battery gives me full day charge with hard usage, and gives 2 day backup with moderate usage. Supports HD games such as Real racing 3, Temple Run Oz etc.

can the brand be trusted? we all have a negative mind about Chinese brands. a bit confused. and what about other phones of this brand? like elife e3 g2 etc? Are those phone worth buying? Can anyone clear my doubts?

This fetish of having thin phones is not understandable at all- i mean a 5inch HD display driven by a Quad Core Turbo processor with a 2000 mAh battery make scant sense. Why not a slightly thicker mobile-even 10mm- with a 3000 mAh battery which will suffice a real life smart phone user get thru the entire day- till night, when you normally recharge your battery anyways. Lack of fore sight- or no customer feed back ??

The guys at Gionee have done a marvelous job of augmenting features of high end phones in low to mid-range devices, however, there is one major flaw in this device- Ignoring functionality while trying to add cosfeatures.
This device sports a quad core processor ALONG with a full HD 1080p Display, The cores that are used in this phone aren’t exactly energy efficient and the display is a surefire power guzzler. These two features that are the phones current crwod puller will eventually turn into a magnet to attract negative reviews about its measly 2000mAh+ battery not providing enough juice to even last a day.
