  • Gaurav Kapoor

Karbonn believes by launching a #highprice phone will get them Customers while Micromax has launched the new Canvas at less 2-3k

  • Rohit Joshi

Also Karbonn has not yet revealed the resolution of its screen which ideally should be mentioned in its specifications once it is released.

  • Rohit Joshi

If it is to be sold for 20k then Karbonn should give a processor of 1.5 or 1.7 Ghz with a RAM of 2GB. If not, then Karbonn should lower its price to around 15k.Then it will be a best deal.

  • RatnadeepGaikwad

Yeah the cost is too high and they have not upgraded the CPU and memory along with the screen
Rendering so many pixels with the same processor is make this phone lag big time!!!

the price seems to high for an indian company

  • KameshGhadi

ram is low if ram 2 GB then price 20 k right but 1 GB ram price will be around 16 k

  • Abhi Sachaniya

no one would buy at 19k… should be 15k

  • AshishKamat

Price of Galaxy grand is around 17k and xperia L 16K and LG L9 around same.Who will buy this, even Canvas HD and Canvas 2 are around 12k and 11k respectively….
All indian companies start with overblown price but prices come down as devices of bigger brand start giving competitive device at that price.

With all Chinese manufacturers having shifted to 1.5 G.Hz. MTK 6589T- 2 GB RAM mode- Karbonn, who are just traders – must have picked up these phones cheap in Shenzhen China- i believe now 1.2GHz. 1 GB RAM phones even with 5.5inch display can be picked up WS around 8-9k- I have seen some even 6 inch screen phones around $ 170 retail-add usual 100% markup– and u have a phone ready for Indian masses. But problem is  that Indian consumer is getting smarter and will not be swayed with sub power phones. Perhaps this might sell at around 12-14k a level where it will naturally fall in 1 month. Eventually Karbonn will have to bite the bullet and upgrade to 1.5GHz. 2 give an appropriate power phone to Indian public.
