Skoda Launches Skoda Rapid Leisure At Rs. 7.79 lakh
Skoda India today launched a special edition of its entry level sedan. The Skoda Rapid Leisure will sell in a total of three variants, starting from a price of Rs 7.79 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the 1.6 petrol manual version, Rs 8.79 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the automatic and Rs 9.06 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the diesel manual version.
The new variant Skoda Rapid Leisure, available in petrol and diesel engines, would include features like portable navigation system with rear view camera and rear parking sensors, as Skoda India said in a statement.
The special edition will be available across the country for a limited period only. Skoda India sells five cars in the Indian market — the Superb, Laura, Fabia, Yeti and the Rapid, in which Skoda currently sells nine variants of Rapid in the Indian market, priced between Rs 7.12 lakh and Rs 9.76 lakh.
The petrol variant has maximum power of 105 PS at 5250 rpm with maximum torque of 220 Nm at 1530-3800 rpm. The diesel variant has maximum power of 105PS at 4400 rpm with maximum torque of 250 Nm at 1500-2500 rpm.
