Report : 5.2-inch Nokia Lumia 825 In Works
According to reports from Chinese media, Nokia is apparently working on the Lumia 825 featuring 5.2-inch display. In a post by unwiredview, the device is said to come with a 5.2-inch touchscreen, yet with ‘just’ 720p HD resolution. Which clearly suggest that Lumia 825 will be a midranger.
The rumoured Nokia Lumia 825 which will be based on Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update, is believed to be a successor to the Lumia 820 which was launched alongside the former flagship, the Lumia 920.
A quad-core processor does look likely for the Lumia 825, as the report states that it will feature a Qualcomm’s midrange Snapdragon 400, 1.2GHz quad-core processor based on ARM’s Cortex-A7 architecture and the only other information on this smartphone is that it may release in October this year.
Nokia is taking Windows phone very seriously and is getting aggressive with its Lumia line-up. It seems that the launch of quad-core phones is the next step forward for the company.
There will probably be a high-end 6-inch Nokia Lumia phablet coming too and perhaps it will manage to arrive in the market before the end of this year.
So stay tuned for more..
