Gionee has launched yet another phone in the Indian market which is said to be available for 6500 INR. 

The Gionee P2 features a 4-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. The device is equipped with a 1.3GHz dual-core Cortex A7 MediaTek 6572 processor which is further paired with 512MB of RAM and Mali 400 GPU.



The Gionee P2 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It comes with 4GB of internal storage that can also be expanded up to 32GB. This device has a 5-megapixel rear camera with a LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. The rear camera includes options like face detection, touch to focus, Panorama, face beauty, gesture & smile shot and can also record HD videos.


The device supports dual SIM. It is also powered with a 1700mAh battery. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM Radio, GPS, Digital Compass, Light Sensor, Face Unlock and Game Zone. This device is available at a few websites online and is available in two color variants:  Black and White.

    its not cheap as gionee is established brand…but manufacters…devices for local branded to good branded…based on the investment…if you pay them higher than they will make phone with your name brand than you can compete in market with nokia samsung sony etc…any ways all are made in same markets in china..

    Cheap china maal….If I had 1 Crore Rupees to waste, I would have imported 3333, of these phones from China and sold them as “Girish phone”!

        true that 99% of the phones are manufactured in china, but the thing is that brand’s have a quality status they have to maintain. each handset is thoroughly checked for defects and no compromises are made to cut costs.
