LG G Pad Teaser Video Surfaces Along With A Leaked Press Render
A week ago, in an interview with Dimitar Valev, Sales & Marketing Manager of Mobile Communications & PC at LG Bulgaria, revealed that LG will probably end the year with a tablet. Now the recent Teaser video and the leaked Press Render also confirms the LG G Pad.
Though the teaser video for LG G Pad 8.3 didn’t reveal much about what the upcoming tablet will actually look like, but the press render doing the rounds shows a size comparison between what appears to be the new LG G Pad and its smartphone counterpart, the LG G2. The tablet uses similar design language to the G2, with the only difference being the more pronounced rounded edges on the tablet.
LG had put their tablet plans on hold last year. Their first Android-powered tablet was the 8.9-inch Optimus Pad, however, an 9.8-inch LG tablet was just spotted at the FCC with the model number of V500. No word on its availability.
Dubbed the LG G Pad, the new tablet is said to come with an 8.3-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. As far as processing power goes, it will have a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor as well as 2GB of RAM.
