Earlier this year Asus announced the third iteration of its smartphone-tablet hybrid, the Asus Padfone Infinity A80. There were few leaked reports earlier on the benchmarks of the successor Asus Padfone Infinity A86. Now the device has been spotted online in images alongside its predecessor(Black).

The Asus Padfone Infinity A86 will be the fourth generation of the device.

These images posted by eprice show that the A86(White) won’t be much different from the previously launched Asus Padfone Infinity A80 and the main difference is going to be the processor inside, which according to the earlier leaks will be Snapdragon 800.

Other specifications are expected to remain same – 5-inch 1080p display, 13MP rear camera, 2GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The tablet dock will also most likely be similar to the existing Padfone Infinity.

Looking at the specifications of the predecessor, A80 is a 5-inch full-HD display that can turn into a 10.1-inch tablet when docked to its companion PadFone Infinity Station. The existing PadFone is powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, and an Adreno 320 Graphics processor. It has 2GB RAM and offers 32GB/ 64GB of internal storage. The PadFone also supports LTE connectivity and NFC.

As per the GFX benchmark listing earlier, the Asus Padfone Infinity A86 will sport a full-HD display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution. The tablet is code-named PadFone T004 and runs on Android 4.2.2, as per benchmarks.

Apart from the benchmark results, @evleaks has also leaked some specifications of the rumoured PadFone Infinity A86. The tweet said, “ASUS A86 is the next PadFone Infinity: Snapdragon 800, microSD slot, noise-cancelling mic. In white.”

Asus Padfone Infinity A86 is expected to be unveiled during IFA 2013 next month. Though there is no confirmation on the availability of the new Padfone, but eprice claims that the smartphone-tablet hybrid will be available by September end.
