A variant of the popular HTC One with dual-SIM CDMA and GSM has been launched in India for a price of Rs. 53590. HTC and Tata Docomo has partnered to launch HTC One Dual SIM+ in India at a price of Rs 53,590. According to the company, it’s the first Android smartphone that supports UMTS/ HSPA/ 3G connectivity as well as high-speed data on CDMA via EVDO.

“Dual-SIM smartphones are more popular as they allow consumers to take advantage of the most effective network coverage in the vicinity of the user for the best possible connections,” said Jack Yang, president, HTC South Asia.

Just like the other Dual SIM model of HTC One, which went on sale last month, HTC One Dual SIM+ too have the same specifications. Only on the dual SIM HTC one, SIM 1 will support both 3G/ HSPA networks and CDMA/ EVDO networks. While on SIM 2, it will support 2G connectivity on GSM networks.

HTC One Dual SIM+ features similar removable back cover and memory card slot that lets you expand the memory up to 64GB. A 4.7 inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, 1.7 GHz quad-core processor,  Android Jelly Bean with Sense 5, UltraPixel camera with LED Flash and a 2.1MP HD front-facing camera.
