Nexus 5 shows up at FCC, 5-inch Display And Snapdragon 800 Chipset
A couple of weeks back, we had reported about a LG made Nexus 5 to come in October or November. 2 days ago, Google in its own video of Android 4.4 ‘Kitkat’ accidentally or purposely showed off the handset, when a Google employee was spotted snapping pictures with an unknown LG-branded Nexus at headquarters in Mountain View.
Now a report from Engadget reveals more about the alleged Nexus 5. According to the website the dubbed LG D820 (alleged Nexus 5) has been approved by the FCC. The accompanying documents reveal the LG D820 will support LTE, penta-band DC-HSPA+ and quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity apart from dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC.
Adding to these details of alleged Nexus 5, In a good catch by Brian Klug from Anandtech, the docs also clearly indicate that this device will have a 5-inch display (4.96-inch, to be exact), and measure 131.9mm tall and 68.2mm wide.
