The Mobile World Congress is scheduled to take place from the 26th of February to March 1st. Xiaomi has announced 40 of its smartphones, some dating back to 2012, will receive MIUI 9 update soon. MIUI 9 was officially launched in India back in November along with the Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite.

Xiaomi launched the Mi Max 2 back in June of 2017 and is expected to launch the next iteration in the ‘Mi Max’ series by mid-2018. While not a lot is known about the device so far, a new leak has revealed a few key details about the upcoming phablet.
An image was posted on Weibo which has revealed that the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will sport a 6.99-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Something that will get increasingly common among smartphones of all price segments.
Under the hood, according to the image, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 chipset, have 3GB or 4GB of RAM along with 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage.
