Nokia N1 Tablet Might be Available Globally Soon
Recent reports suggest that the Nokia N1 tablet powered by Android, might be made available for users across the globe in the upcoming days. The tablet launched in China in January, and has received a successful response. Looking at its popularity the company is considering making it available in other markets. Though there is no official confirmation on the roll out of the tablet in India. The device is available in Taiwan for 8,190 TWD (approx Rs. 17000).
What we need to know about the N1 is that it’s not exactly made by Nokia, it’s a Foxconn device. Nokia licensed its brand to the Taiwanese manufacturing giant for its manufacturing, distribution and sale of the N1 tablet in the market.
Running on Android 5.0 with Nokia Z Launcher, the N1 has a 7.9-inch IPS display with LED backlight. The processor is a 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 CPU clocked at 2.3 GHz with 2GB RAM and comes with a 5300 mAh battery. The storage on the device is 32GB. The tablet features a 5 MP front-facing camera, an 8 MP rear camera which supports 1080p video recording.
The N1 is a 6.9mm-thin aluminum body with fully laminated zero air-gap display protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The device offers advanced audio capabilities including stereo speakers. On the connectivity, the N1 supports 3.5mm headset jack, Micro-USB 2.0 Type-C reversible connector, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
