Nokia launched a party of phones at the Mobile World Congress 2017. While Nokia introduced three Android smartphones, ditching Windows OS, it also introduced the revamped version of the sturdy Nokia 3310. The global release date of the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 3310 is still unknown, however, the launch of the phones in India is expected in the second half of April 2017. The Nokia phones will go on sale in the summer using a mix of online and offline strategies.

While all three of the Android models have been launched with the Android Nougat OS, the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC. The Nokia 3, on the other hand operates on the Mediatek MT6737 chipset. The display size of the three phones differ, with the Nokia 6 sporting the largest. The Nokia 6 has a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a 1920 x 1080 px resolution. The Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 have a 5.2-inch and 5-inch display with a 1280 x 720 px resolution.

The Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 pack 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB of internal storage and up to 256 GB microSD storage expandability. The Nokia 6, on the other hand, will be available in 2 variants : 3 GB of RAM with 32 GB of internal storage (for Matte Black, Tempered Blue, Silver and Copper) and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of internal storage (Arte Black). Both the variants will have a microSD slot for expandable storage of up to 256 GB.

The primary cameras of the Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 are 16 MP, 13 MP and 8 MP  respectively. The secondary camera of the three Nokia smartphones, however, is an 8 MP sensor. The other specifications of the three phones include a front-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer and gyroscope. While the Nokia 6 is expected to be made available in India at a price under Rs. 18000, the Nokia 3 will most likely be sold at a little under Rs. 10000.

Another phone that will go on sale along with the three Android smartphones by Nokia, is the Nokia 3310. With its launch at MWC, the world came to a stand-still, and many were hit by nostalgia. The Nokia 3310 works on Nokia’s Series 30+ and has a 2.4-inch QVGA display. The phone also has expandable storage capabilities (read, microSD slot). The revamped Nokia 3310 is lighter than its predecessor, however, has a rugged polycarbonate exterior. The old Snake Game has been replaced by a newer, more modern version. Also, the Nokia 3310 has a 2 MP camera with LED flash. Most likely, the Nokia 3310 will also be launched  in April 2017, at a price of Rs. 3900 in India.
