Xiaomi’s sub brand Poco’s Pocophone F1 is touted as the latest affordable flagship-style device on the market owing to its reasonable prices coupled with stellar features. Its price reels people in immediately, however, it is no less a monster in the specifications department as well. This is the only phone which packs Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 845 chipset along with the Adreno 630 GPU for as little as Rs 20,999.

On top of that, there’s 6GB or 8GB of RAM, between 64GB and 256GB of storage, a 4,000 mAh battery, headphone jack, Android 8.1 Oreo, and USB-C. Up front is also a 6.18-inch FHD notched display and a 20MP selfie camera, as well as a 12MP/5MP rear camera setup.
However, things are just getting started. It has some other features to add to its name. It is liquid cooled, which negates the chances of heating up and ensures that the processor is always running smoothly. But there’s one area where the Poco F1 seems to be compromising a bit. This phone is made from plastic/polycarbonate which is something that is rare these days. However, come think of it, it is not necessarily a bad thing. At least, not bad enough to overlook so many exceptional features that too without burdening your pocket much.
Xiaomi’s Pocophone F1 was unveiled in France, Hong Kong and Indonesia yesterday. Now it is gearing up to release its flagship smartphones in a lot more countries, 40 to be exact.
It is speculated that the prices and availability might differ from region to region. For example, in Spain, the 64GB model starts at €330. But Xiaomi offers a €30 coupon that drops the price to €300. However, the 128GB model comes with a heavier price tag of €400. Meanwhile, in France, the 64GB model will sell for €360, while the 6GB + 128GB model will have a €400 price tag.
It is for everyone to see how the brand now Pocophone F1 is taking the digital world by storm. That said, for now, we have to wait patiently to see whether it will be able to keep up with the prices globally.
