Honor 7S Launch In India Imminent
Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is all set to launch Honor 7S in India. Earlier a report citing industry sources claimed that the smartphone would be launched in the first week of September. The company is teasing the smartphone on their official website.
Ahead of the launch, which is now speculated to occur tomorrow, that is on 4th September, the company has kicked off a contest.
The contest gives a perfect opportunity to users to win Honor 7S, Honor 9N, Honor Play and Honor Band 3. Rumours say that this Honor 7S is somewhat similar to the Honor Play 7 launched in China in May this year. But Honor 7S is believed to be a downgrade in the camera department. Honor 7S has already been launched in Pakistan. However, the pricing as well as the availability of the smartphone is yet to be revealed in India.
Honor 7S Specifications
The dual-SIM (Nano) Honor 7S was launched in Pakistan running Android 8.1 Oreo and has a 5.45-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) FullView display. The phone has a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 SoC, together with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the device supports expandable storage up to 256GB. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 3,020mAh battery.
The phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with PDAF and LED flash. It has a 5-megapixel sensor on the front. This is where it has downgraded from the Honor Play 7, which has a 24-megapixel shooter on the front. Apart from this, The Honor 7S has an eye protection mode that applies a blue light filter to the display making it easier to read.
The Honor 7S has a 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot, Bluetooth 4.2 with LE, GLONASS, GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, when it comes to the connectivity. The Honor 7S is expected to cost around Rs 10,000, for the base variant.
