Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Video Shows Off The Sliding Camera
Last week, Xiaomi’s president x posted a render of the Mi Mix 3 on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. The smartphone is yet to be officially announced. However it might have a October launch this year, according to reports.
Recently, a short hands-on video has appeared on the internet. The video showcases the smartphone’s slide-out camera. Furthermore, the short clip reveals that the mechanism is indeed manual and not automatic as some people were expecting.
The Vivo NEX S is responsible for bringing sliding camera in vogue with their announcement this year at MWC in Barcelona. However, it was not exactly a sliding camera, but a pop-up camera. In the true sense, it was Oppo, that introduced a sliding camera on its Find X device. This was followed by Honor Magic 2 and now the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. However, Find X sliding camera is motorised unlike the manual one of the Mi Mix 3. That said, the veracity of the video is till doubtful.
Furthermore, the upcoming Mi Mix 3 may also have a fully bezel-less design. Some rumours hint that the device will have a Samsung QHD+ AMOLED display. It may also have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and a 20 MP Front Camera.
