Apple will hold its annual launch event on Wednesday, September 12. And the rumour mill has been going haywire for a while now. Some speculations say that the tech giant will launch three new iPhones, namely iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus and the iPhone XC. Along with the iPhones, Apple fans are placing their bets on the launch of two new iPad Pro models and a new Apple Watch.

A popular mobile leaker, Steve Hemmersoffer, better known as @Onleaks took to twitter to share a CAD of the purported upcoming iPad Pro. The render showcases the iPad Pro with edge-to-edge display and minimal bezels. The absence of the home button is giving rise to speculations that the new iPad Pro will have a Face ID. The authenticity of the render is still doubtful, as suggested by Hemmerstoffer himself.

This is not the first time we are witnessing such speculations. The market is rife with rumours that the supposed iPad Pro might get slimmer bezels and no home button. Other rumours say that the new iPad Pro models will feature a similar design to that of the iPhone X, which entails thin bezels and Face ID.  Notwithstanding the fact that you can use the iPad either in a vertical or horizontal positioning, the Face ID feature will work with the portrait mode only. One Apple analyst revealed that the upcoming iPad Pro models might also come equipped with the USB Type-C port. Does this mean that Apple is now ready to part with its own Lightning connector?

Besides the confirmation of the September 12 launch event in Cupertino, California, the company is pretty mum about the launch. So, the authenticity of such claims are still doubtful. However, with the launch event to be live streamed tomorrow, we won’t have to wait much before Apple unveils its products.
