OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple Variant Officially Launched
OnePlus recently announced the OnePlus 6T in October. It is the latest flagship phone by OnePlus. The phone sports a 6.41 inch super AMOLED display with a 2340 x 1080 px resolution and a 402 ppi pixel density. This is also the first OnePlus phone to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and lose the headphone jack. The phone ships in 2 variants, Midnight Black and Mirror Black. Earlier this week, a listing had given us an idea about the existence of a Thunder Purple Variant as well.
The Thunder Purple Finish
Rumours about a new OnePlus 6T colour have been in the air since its launch. It was expected the company will announce a new colour few weeks after the launch. It is a trend that OnePlus has been following since the launch of OnePlus 5. The company launched limited edition variants for the device after its launch. They carried the trend forward with the OnePlus 6 by launching the red colour and the Avengers edition. This can be recently seen in OnePlus 6T.
The company has announced the Thunder Purple variant today in China. The phone is currently available in the Chinese market, however, the variant might be available in different parts of the world soon. The Thunder Purple colour appears to have a gradient hue that displays different shades of purple. This depends on how the back panel reflects the light.
