Microsoft Finally Announces The Release Date For Crackdown 3
Microsoft Studios have finally announced the release date for Crackdown 3. It is an open world action-adventure video game that was originally supposed to arrive on 7th November, 2017. Microsoft will finally release Crackdown on 15th February, 2019. The game will be available on Windows PCs and Xbox One. Since the game is a part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program, people who buy the game would be able to play it on both PC and Xbox machines at no extra cost. Crackdown 3 is a highly-anticipated addition to the series and an Xbox One exclusive.
Xbox One X was launched last year with no exclusive titles. Crackdown 3 was supposed to be the title for the new gaming machine. Microsoft is now pushing the designers and developers to create more Xbox exclusive titles. Microsoft also announced that five new studios have joined Microsoft studios to create more Xbox One exclusive titles.
Crackdown 3 Gameplay
Microsoft have put a lot of extra time in improving the game’s visuals, and to ensure that it’s a better quality game all around. The game retains the core gameplay of the original Crackdown and Crackdown 2 featuring a number of different organisations controlling the city of new providence. Players will need to take down these organisations by killing their bosses and destabilising their infrastructures. Players can use a variety of weapons to achieve the goal, from guns to rocket launchers to the player’s physical strength.
Crackdown 3 also introduces a new game system known as “Gangs Bite Back”, in which a bosses’ attention could be drawn towards a player by destroying their locations. An Inside Xbox episode broadcast from X018 featured a new trailer for the game’s multiplayer mode, wrecking zone. It is a five-on-five death-match mode which features full-on destructible environments.

Microsoft also announced that the original Crackdown will be available to download for free till 30th November. The will also receive some enhancements. It will now run in 4K on the high-end console via the backward compatibility feature.
