Samsung Launched the Galaxy Note 2 N7100 in India yesterday at a press conference in Hyderabad. The Note 2, a quad core 5.5 inch phone running Android 4.1, was launched at a price of Rs. 39,900 as initial offer.

But it looks like the price of the Note 2 will be drastically dropped to lure buyers who might be waiting for the impending iphone 5 to show up in India. the Note 2 price is reportedly going to be around Rs. 36000 very soon and may drop to lower than Rs. 35000 within the coming weeks.

When we approached Samsung, an official had this to say:
As a global market leader, Samsung is ever changing its policies for the best interest of the consumer. Today this benefit can be passed on by the company to the end user, so its up for discussion.
The company made no comment on why or how a price drop on the very next day of launch is being discussed. We dont know if the price change will finalize or not, but here is hoping .
