Mobisante’s MobiUS smartphone ultrasound system allows for doctors to perform ultrasound scans on the go literally. Conceptualized by ex-Micrtosoft Dr. Sailesh Chutani the device can be ordered starting today for a price of $7,495 thats a lot less compared to a traditional ultrasound. But a lot more comapared to your Android device. The device is however the Toshiba TG01 running Windows Mobile 6.5 . The device should do well has a in field scanner in emergency situations and Dr. Chutani may also cut the price in half if he can get enough initial orders.
RIM founder and CEO Mike Lazaridis takes out time and apologizes for the service outages for Blackberry services this week. In a video address published today, Lazaridis acknowledged that RIM services were out of functionality due to server losses this week, but assured that his company is working hard to remedy the situation.

Looks like we finally have confirmation that the Galaxy Nexus Prime and the Ice Cream Sandwich release, which were earlier to be released on the 11th of Oct will now be released on the 19th of Oct 2011. The event has been moved to the 19th and some are speculating that despite Google and Samsung used Steve Jobs’ passing as an excuse the real reason was their FCC clearance delays.
