    The folks at XDA China got their hands on the new HTC bliss and took a few high-quality images for the world to see. These images do justice to the device and negate on earlier images.

    According to XDA China the measurements of the device are similar to the Desire S. The device is expected to be launched on the 1st September.

    Skype Video Calling Hacked to Work on Sensation and Galaxy S2 Update : Mi 410

    The latest Skype update enables video calling on Android device, but is limited to a strict number of devices. The folks over at DroidLife have found a way to make it work on your new Android 2.3 devices including the HTC Sensation and the Samsung Galaxy S2.

    Simply Download the Cracked Skype from the link on droidlife and copy it to your device and install it. (Make sure third party apps are enabled in your settings)

    Oh yeah we tested it on the HTC Sensation, and it works flawlessly.

     

    UPDATE: Big update we got the new Skype app up and running and making calls on the Mi 410 from SPICE. A video coming up soon.

  • Samsung Galaxy S Gets Gingerbread version of Android in Europe, Coming to India ?

    Samsung rolls out the 2.3 Gingerbread update in Europe just ahead of its schedule. We are left with rolling eyes. It’s a limited rollout, benefiting Holland and Germany first. For all those in the EU with a Galaxy S , boot up your phone and connect it to Kies to check for a software update.

    The Device pictured above is codenamed “mango” and a tag of SK17i has been given to the handset. These pictures come courtesy a chinese leak of the device, and show that the device does run Android 2.3 with a SE timescape -esque interface. The device also has a side sliding QWERTY keyboard.

    Its a pity that although Hardware is supported and software available, manufacturers don’t ship devices with the latest OS (read : Honeycomb).
