Nvidia call Tegra 3 PC class chip, displays with comparatives

Nvidia’s new and upcoming Tegra 3 is the chip to look out for, says the industry. A confirmed chip which is upto five times faster than existing Tegra 2, offers 4 cores of 1.5 GHz madness and a perforce and graphics boost unknown to phone/tablet kind prior to this.The new Tegra 3 four times faster for web browsing, three times faster for graphics(12-core GeForce GPU). This GPU has total support for stereoscopic 3D.

The ASUS Transformer Prime is going to be the first tablet, with the Tegra 3. checkout the comparative images from Nvidia putting all questions to rest.

Claiming better performance and all round improved battery life, this chipset should be found in most tablets to be released in 2012.

Qualcomm launches Vellamo browser benchmark for Android devices

The mastermind behind a flurry of chipsets for Mobile phones, also responsible for graphic benchmarks like Neocore. Qualcomm has just launched the Vellamo Benchmark for Android devices. This benchmark if for mobile browser lagging tests. Vellamo is essentially a suite of 11 tests designed to gauge browser performance on Android phones and tablets.

To operate it requires any Android Device over OS 2.0

Samsung Galaxy S 2 Benchmarked

Looks like the Galaxy S 2 is running Benchmarks all round, the device beats any stock device in current benchmarks. Scores are coming in over 3300 thanks to the dual core processor.
