There Is No Ultra Pixel!

A recently leaked series of images and video that show glances of what was supposedly the “Ultra Pixel”, claiming that there will be in fact three pixel devices, the Pixel , the Pixel XL and the Ultra Pixel to compete with the iPhone 8 , the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X.

However, the leak has now been put to rest from the designer who designed the concept and made the render video. Youtuber BRECCIA who was the “leaker” of the “Ultra Pixel” has just put out a video on how the world believed his concept, and was also proud that big international Youtubers were considering his designs to be real.

Prolific leakers @evleaks and @Onleaks had denied the possibility of the “Ultra Pixel” and at the end of it all, this ended up being a big troll in the face of today’s online journalism which has become more mainstream than most would expect.

Also, ” Ultrapixel” is an HTC trademark, and even though Google has an Ongoing deal with HTC, that won’t be finalized for many months, and Google will not be able to use HTC’s trademark.

This Might Be The Next Google Pixel XL

The unveiling of Google’s Flagship smartphone, the Pixel XL 2 is still a couple of months away, so here’s some pixel respite for those craving for a sight of the new Pixel XL .

An exclusive report from Android Police reveals that Google’s 2nd-generation Pixel XL features an LG-made 6″ AMOLED display with a 2:1 aspect ratio with minimal bezel and rounded corners. This gives the next-generation XL a contemporary look. The “3D” glass effect with a flat screen is an interesting feature. Next up are the wide speaker grille at the top and the front-facing camera, however, unfortunately we are unaware of the status on the headphone jack. Google also might have bid adieu to the lower body antenna band, but we aren’t too sure about it by simply looking at these pictures.

In comparison with its predecessor, Google’s 2nd-generation Pixel XL is slimmer,taller and features a fingerprint sensor that now sits below the glass “window” at the top of the phone, as opposed to inside it. Equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with 4 GB RAM, Google may simply opt for a single lens camera and ditch the dual lens trend. Rumors point to the phone’s squeezable frame which allows the user to interact with Google assistant by squeezing their handsets, much like the HTC U11.

If Google sticks to the past year’s timeline, expect to see its next generation of phones debut in early October. Though a number of questions are still left unanswered but nothing can be said for sure till the 2nd-gen Pixel XL is officially unveiled. This leak will have to do for now.

The Google Pixel And Pixel Xl Up For Sale in India

the Google Pixel phones have finally gone on sale in India, with preorders ending today. The Pixel is the Google’s attempt to make mainstream flagship handsets killing the Nexus line in the process. The new Pixel and Pixel XL phones feature some of the latest specs and the newest build, Android 7.1 along with Google Assistant pre-loaded.

We recently unboxed the Google Pixel Xl, which is the bigger variant of the Google Pixel. Prices for the Google Pixel phones start at Rs. 57000 and go upto Rs. 76000 for the Google Pixel XL with 128 GB storage.

The phones run on Snapdragon 821 and is optimised heavily with the hardware and the new Android 7.1 Nougat which is extremely snappy. The Pixel XL offers up a gorgeous QHD AMOLED display which has rich colours and deep level of blacks, the Pixel keeps the AMOLED for a 1080p resolution. The bright display also works indoors and out, however is a little slippery with its Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Both phones get 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM.

India Is Not Pre-Ordering the Pixel Like Expected

The Google Pixel is a successor to the successful Nexus line of phones which started to dwindle in popularity towards the end of their cycle. Google’s new Pixel and Pixel XL are what iPhone and iPhone Plus are to Apple, proprietary phones, designed to work perfectly well with their software. The Google Pixel and Pixel XL also break the traditional price barrier for Nexus devices pricing them upwards of US$ 649 and in India starting at a Rs. 57000 slightly short of the iPhone 7 price tag. However, the Google Pixel has failed to excite the Indian consumers like the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus did, according to our source at Flipkart. The company has received little pre-orders and are falling short of expectations the sales teams had. Google has also started pushing advertisements in India for the Pixel in order to excite potential customers. However general expectations of price have been off from he users and the pricing seems high despite the specifications on the Pixel handsets. The most expensive Pixel Xl with 128 GB storage is expected to sell the least and is priced at Rs. 76000.

Presently the Very Silver and Quite Black colours of the phone are on sale and the Really Blue colour is not expected in India. Are you waiting to buy the Pixel or the Pixel XL or would you rather buy something else?

As promised the Google Pixel has gone up for Pre-Order in India starting 13th Oct. The Pixel and Pixel XL which are priced between Rs. 57000 and Rs. 76000 are a far cry from the pricing norm surrounding Nexus devices, which the pixel phones are replacing. The Phones will be available online on Flipkart and through several other outlets including Reliance Digital , Tata Croma among others. Flipkart is offering Rs. 27000 Exchange offer for a trade in of your old phone.

Google at their #madebyGoogle event announced the Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. The new smartphones come with the Pixel UI.

The Google Pixel and Pixel XL will be the first phone that comes with Google Assistant out of the box. The Google Assistant comes with their new machine learning AI which sits right on the Pixel.

Pixel and Pixel XL Leaked by Case Makers

Ahead of the 4th Oct official release for Google Pixel and Pixel XL set to replace the Nexus brand, Case makers are outing accessories for the phones, and renders show us an up-close look at the two phones. The phones which are very identical to the HTC One or iPhone in terms of design language will be available in two sizes. According to leaks the phones will also have a dual material design ; a unibody Aluminium shell with a glass half insert.

Large fingerprint scanners sit in the back of the phones along with a G from the Google Logo. Specs wise both phones are expected to have Snapdragon 820 chipsets, 4 GB of RAM and 12 MP main + 8 MP front cameras. The Pixel XL will offer up a large screen 5.5 inch display with QHD resolution (whereas the Pixel will show up in a 5 inch 1920 x 1080 px size ) and a large battery according to reports. The mindset that Nexus phones are cheap, will also be removed as the Google Pixel phones will not be cheap, but will offer a clean Android experience. The phones are expected to start at a $649 price tag and come in 32 GB and 128 GB storage options.

The Pixel phones were earlier also spotted in the Nest Outdoor camera commercial in the Netherlands.

Google to Launch Pixel on Oct. 4 , Phone Leaked Ahead of Launch

The revision to the Google Nexus Phones, the Pixel, is set to launch on Oct 4th 2016, and Alphabet has shared the invite for the same. An interesting taser video of the launch has been put by Google and it shows silhouettes of the handset transforming from a flat line to a smartphone shell.

The event will begin at 9AM in San Francisco according to the company invites. The Pixel and Pixel XL are the two phones that the company is working on launching.

According to rumours the 5-inch model of Pixel smartphone will start from $649, while the Pixel XL will be priced higher. New leaked pictures show that the phones will have a fused metal and plastic chassis, with an aluminium part covering the bottom back. The phones will apparently be made by HTC, but no clear information has leaked on that.
