Star Trek’s Replicator

Obviously there aren’t printers that can magically produce objects as of now, but the closest we get to this type of a device is the HP DesignJet 3D Printer. The 3D printing technology is evolving slowly to realise the idea of fabricating an object on demand as long as the plans for it are already available. As of now, one can produce hard plastic parts to assemble a model however, the cost and process of using and designing such a device is very high. Although if you want to produce a 3D image of a real object you can easily do so using the HP TopShot where the scanner combines six different images to make a 3D photo.
