Motorola has launched the sixth generation of its highly successful Moto G series in India. The Moto G6 was globally launched on 19th April in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Over the past few days, Motorola India had been teasing the launch of the Moto G6 on social media. The new Moto G6 succeeds the Moto G5s which was launched in India in August 2017. At a starting price of Rs 13999, the Moto G6 will go on sale on 9th May via Amazon exclusively.
The Moto G6 is a significant upgrade over the Moto G5s in terms of design and build quality. During the Moto G5s launch, there were premium smartphones with the 18:9 aspect ratio but, not many budget devices had adopted the feature. Since then, however, the 18:9 aspect ratio has become the norm across the board. The Moto G6 follows the norm as well and has thin bezels around a display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
