We recently received a unit for the new Micromax Canvas 4 A210 Unboxing and the smartphone has some interesting elements inside the box. The phone is an upgrade to the Micromax Canvas HD A116 and changes a few hardware aspects but major aesthetics and inbox accessories have been changed.

The box of the new Micromax Canvas 4 will remind you Apple’s packaging of the iPod touch with the phone put on top and the a clear top cover, the design of the packaging is reminiscent of Apple design. Inside the box you will get:

    • Flat Tangle Free In Ear Earphones
    • Extra Ear-Tips
    • Battery
    • USB Wall Charger
    • Documentation

First Impression

When we started the Micromax Canvas 4 A210 Unboxing we were surprised with the quality of inbox accessories, for once the company has truly focused on accessories that make the phone work. The USB cable is flat and tangle free so is easy to carry in the pocket and can be twisted and turned to result in its original form with little or no effort. The build quality of the Micromax Canvas 4 is far superior to any Micromax phone in the past, it is solid and robust with a steel shell and plastic back. The front is all glass with a 5 inch display with a now mediocre 1280 x 720p display (where most are promoting a 1080p display). 

 

The form factor is very functional and handy, and not a lot of people will be impressed with Micromax’s software gimmicks like the Blow to Unlock feature. The Phone has a 13 MP camera which is now traditionally seen on flagships from Samsung and Sony, what is interesting here is the fact that the Micromax Canvas 4 has a 5 MP front camera which even major manufacturers neglect to feature. Micromax has also bundled several apps that allow for access to Micromax Services like MiZone and M! Security.

    Enough ! Now stop using mediatek chpset and arm A7 these taiwaan chipsets are not as powerful as snapdragon S4 8960 …and use adreno 320 gpu or power vr sgx 544 MP4 or MP3 rather just MP1 …
    U just put weird combination of cpu and gpu ….and the last ips lcd with led backlit display …the screen looks grey otherwise …dificult to see outside under sunlight….we are ready to pay upto 21k INR….

    This is one hell of a device…
    Micromax is the first Indian brand to match these specs and the others have started copying it as well……

    however this phone should have brushed aluminum matte finished back

    well micromax is concentrating less on the beauty and more on the specs……..

    and the message to all of you haters: the income generated from the pre-bookings of the phone shows its success in itself

    Tats true brother, “problem with camera-used to shoot”. Clearity, resolution, specifications, accsries…… are really awesome. I can say, this phone is good enough to beat iPhone, Samsung and Nokia’s top end models.
    If you are planning to buy it, go for it :)

    My suggestion to Micromax – It should manufacture a device Canvas 4 mini Specs Should be –
    1)4.3″ inch hd screen
    2)Mediatek quad core processor
    3)1gb Ram
    4)8gb internal memory
    5)Should have a led indicator
    6)8MP Main camera @30Fps & Front 3.2 MP
    7)The back cover should be matt finish . It should be dual sim .The battery should be of 2000mah

    8)When the smartphone is placed on a flat surface the main camera should not touch surface
    9)Micromax logo should be written on the front of the phone as well as on back of phone.
    10)The phone should be white in colour because white colour looks great and the main thing it should be handy.
    11)OH! i forgot one thing that it should have a hard home button not soft keys
    Soft keys only for settings and back button
    AND ABOUT THE PRICE – Market dd and ss

    hey 1 big doubt, why is the screen of this device is so blueish in the above 2 videos, while it was not in your previous canvas 4 videos, is there a problem with the camera you used to shoot the video, even you were not mentioning it, so i guess there is no problem with the screen
