The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ for India will belong to the “Make in India” program from Samsung.

Both the phones run a new 10 nm chipset, The S8 has an Octa core (2.3GHz Quad + 1.7GHz Quad), 64 bit chipset while the S8+ will have an Octa core (2.35GHz Quad + 1.9GHz Quad), 64 bit chipset.

The Galaxy S8 and S8+ has a HDR certified display, which should give the best color and contrast for video content. Both the phones have iP68 water and dust resistance.

The home button sits below the display, where if you press down on the screen near the bottom it mimics the feel of the button much like Apple’s latest Touch ID haptics, but inside the main display.

Samsung has also launched Bixby, an intelligent Artificial interface. The phones have a new Bixby button that allow you to navigate through services and apps with simple voice, touch, vision and text commands. According to the company the Assistant will learn user information and practices over time and get better and better.

Made with dual 13 MP rear cameras with an f/2.0 aperture on both, while one of the sensors is a coloured one, while the other is a monochrome sensor. • DJI’s new Drone The Spark is 50% Smaller Than The Mavic

DJI’s new Drone The Spark is 50% Smaller Than The Mavic

While the Mavic is just about launching in India (our video will be out shortly), A new DJI drone seems to have leaked which is more than 50% smaller than the DJI Mavic. The drone will apparently be called the Spark and images seems to be floating on the Chinese forums.

Unlike the Mavic the Spark seems to have fixed arms and may aim to take on the beginner drone market at a relatively budget price. The camera shown on the Spark also seems to be different from the Mavic, to the extent that it does not Pan left to right, but only tilts up or down. Due to the compact nature of the drone, panning could be achieved by simply rotating the drone.

Could this simply be a selfie drone, or something that could be gesture controlled like the Phantom pro or Mavic pro? While details for the drone remain sketchy a whole host of video and images have leaked for the DJI Spark. Also unknown is whether the drone will use a controller or simply be controlled by WiFi using a smartphone or a tablet.

Samsung Galaxy S8+ With 6GB RAM and 128 GB is for South Korea Only

Samsung after the successful launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ at an event in New York last month, has unveiled a higher spec variant of the Galaxy S8+. The Galaxy S8+ launch only in the South Korea market has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and fans of the Samsung bezel less phone couldn’t be happier.

Samsung is expected to launch the Exynos variants in India, which means that there is a good chance that the company launches the 128GB Galaxy S8+ in India. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are slated to be launched in April in the country.

Apple Just Ordered 70 Million OLED Panels from Samsung

According to a new report, a supply chain source familiar with iPhone designs has claimed that Apple has ordered 70 Million displays for the next iPhone, with the extent of the order reaching 95 Million if the demand exceeds expectations of the company.

Samsung may invest as much as 8 Billion dollars in the next few months to ramp up production of the the OLED displays, to fulfil the order from Apple in time. Increasing the capacity means, that Samsung will also be able to supply to other manufacturers who were at present unable to procure Super AMOLED screens due to limited production and availability.

Samsung Electronics declined to comment, saying it cannot reveal customers’ orders.

So far rumours have predicted three iPhones launching this year, with a 5.2 inch model which will sport the curved OLED panels from Samsung. The other iPhones with 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches as display sizes will be revisions to the existing iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus.
