Asus Transformer Prime goes up for Pre-Order in the US 32GB for $500
The Asus Transformer prime with Nvidia Tegra 3 and Ice Cream Sandwich has gone up for preorder in the United States. Making it the first Nvidia Tegra 3 tab and the first tablet with Ice Cream Sandwich. This Hybrid tablet will be available in December and will feature a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.2 megapixel front camera. It will initially come with Android 3.2 which will be later upgraded to ICS.
It will be available in two color options of amethyst gray or champagne gold and two storage sizes 32 GB for US$500 and 64GB for US $ 600 (Rs 25000 and 30,000 respectively).

Motorola Mobility Stockholders Approve Merger with Google

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. – Nov. 17, 2011 – Motorola Mobility Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: MMI) (“Motorola Mobility”) today announced that at the Company’s Special Meeting of Stockholders held today, stockholders voted overwhelmingly to approve the proposed merger with Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) (“Google”).
Approximately 99 percent of the shares voting at today’s Special Meeting of Stockholders voted in favor of the adoption of the merger agreement, which represented approximately 74 percent of Motorola Mobility’s total outstanding shares of common stock as of the October 11, 2011 record date for the Special Meeting.
Sanjay Jha, chairman and CEO of Motorola Mobility, said, “We are pleased and gratified by the strong support we have received from our stockholders, with more than 99 percent of the voting shares voting in support of the transaction. As previously announced on August 15, 2011, Motorola Mobility and Google entered into a definitive agreement for Google to acquire Motorola Mobility for $40.00 per share in cash, or a total of approximately $12.5 billion. The Company previously disclosed that it expected the merger to close by the end of 2011 or early 2012. While the Company continues to work to complete the transaction as expeditiously as possible, given the schedule of regulatory filings, it currently believes that the close is expected to occur in early 2012. It is important to note however, that the merger is subject to various closing conditions, and it is possible that the failure to timely meet such conditions or other factors outside of the Company’s control could delay or prevent the Company from completing the merger altogether.

Lenovo to release an Android Ice Cream Sandwich Tablet By end 2011, with 1.6GHz Tegra 3
Did you think Tegra 3 device were far from production? Well, You thought wrong. Folks over at Engadget have exclusive information on the upcoming Lenovo Tab. the device will feature a 10.1 inch display of unknown pixel density. The device also packs a whopping 1.6GHz QUAD CORE Nvidia Tegra 3 Chipset, and 2GB of DDR 3 RAM at 1600 MHz.
The images also reveal a pop out USB host with a standard size USB port, a biometric reader at the back for security locks. The device should be one of the many Tablets on Tegra 3 but looks like Lenovo this time around may actually be the first to launch a device of such massive proportion.

ASUS launches the new Transformer Prime with Tegra 3 and 12 Hour Battery (PR)
Asus has officially announced its revision to the Asus EeePad Transformer, this one dubbed the “Transformer Prime” will feature enhancements inside out. The major changes include the all new Nvidia Tegra 3 SOC with quad core processors and 12 core GPU, the enhanced 10.1 inch Super IPS LCD display. The new tab will also feature a 8.3mm-thick/ thin body, mini-HDMI output, microSD slot ( for next Gen. upto 64GB)
The pricing has also been revised to tackle the market by surprise, the tablet launches worldwide in December for a price of US $ 499 for the 32 GB version ( Approx. Rs 25,000/-) and US $ 599 for the 64GB Version (Approx. Rs 30,000). The display has a resolution of 1280 x 800 and is a Gorilla Glass display with a 178-degree viewing angle and a brightness of 600 nits. HTC Edge Quad Core Nvidia Tegra 3 Phone Leaked
The supposed images of the worlds first tegra 3 smartphone have leaked into the inter-webs. Called the Edge the device would boast a Tegra 3 processor,with four 1.5GHz chips. The Tegra 2 processor, made by NVIDIA, currently available in most flagship devices has a two 1.5GHz chips, so quad-core would represent a huge upgrade.
The HTC Edge has a 4.7-inch HD display, 1GB of RAM and an 8-megapixel camera with an LED flash, This would make it possibly the most powerful smartphone ever. Confirming that the HTC Sensation and Sensation XE will definitely get the upgrade, but leaving out majors from the announcement including Incredible S and Desire S. This announcement was made for the US division, but is applicable to worldwide devices.
