Exclusive Insider : HTC Hourglass Coming to India End November for 14,599/- + Extra for Add-ons

We have got some exclusive news for those hoping to get in on the HTC Rhyme action (launched earlier today in the US). We have got exclusive inside new that the device will launch in India as early as November 1st week and latest by end November – no confirmed dates yet.

But one thing we have heard since the past 5 hours is the price : we are hearing a 14,599 price at launch ( sounds brilliant for the device.) along with additional 499, 1899, and 2099 for the charm, bluetooth headset and desktop speaker respectively.

Thats more information than we expected at this stage anyway, This info also comes from a very reliable source who has snitched to us since the launch of the Desire HD last year.

Google + now in Public Beta with 100 new changes
Google’s recently announced Google+ is now open to anyone who would like a refreshing change. So no more need for invites. Google noted that it has added 100 new changes which include 91 in the website along with 9 major in the mobile apps.

Notable changes include
- A new “Hangouts on Air” option allows users to live broadcast to up to nine different people.
- Hangouts can now be named.
- A screen sharing function has been added to Hangouts.
- Users can now share and view a sketchpad directly inside Hangouts
- Google Docs can be viewed and shared inside Hangouts.
- Google+ members can now search for other users from the social network directly and Google+ will return results from around the web.
- The Google+ Hangouts API is now available for developers.

HTC Rhyme is the CDMA version of Bliss, Launched with Flurry of Accessories to Users on Verizon for 200$ To be Called Hourglass in India
HTC has finally made official, the Rhyme, for Verizon Wireless. The company pegs the device to give all users the experience they desire, tanks to the included accessories.

Touchstone mod brings Wireless Inductive charging to the Samsung Galaxy S Plus and Epic 4G Touch

lusModders are getting it on with inductive charging mods using hardware from old PALM PREs. First it is a Samsung Galaxy S Plus. German IT student Qian Qin ripped apart a palm pre back cover and installed it on his device. The result is a physically indifferent device which now charges wirelessly. check out the video below.

This modder hacked his 3 day old device to charge via the dock using bolder moves. cutting open the back cover and soldering the wires right onto the board. Boeing 787s to have Android tablets for in-flight entertainment

Whats beter than a mass of Android tablets being put to good use by the big folks at Boeing. The aerospace company has exclusively selected Google’s mobile OS as the might behind its new class of 787 Dreamliners’ in-flight entertainment.

Fitted with 10-17inch Panasonic screens, more than 800 of these aircrafts are currently in production, and the company is exploring alternative ways for users to interact with the devices. The touchscreen input may not be feasible since the screens may be too far for a traveller to constantly tap. Boeing is currently playing with the idea of a gesture controlled tablet device.

HTC Sensation XE is Official with 1.5 GHz and Beats Audio, Comes in September

HTC has finally intro’d the long rumored HTC Sensation XE, the new smartphone will have a revamped 1.5 GHz processor and beats audio. Now the unit itself essentially is the same with a qHD display (540 X 960) resolution and boasts a larger 1730mAh battery.

This Special edition unit will come with a set of Beats by DRE Headphones and 8/16GB microSD cards and a remote control that allows audio track management. Intel Demos Android Running on Medfield based Device, in synergy with Google (PR)

Google’s Andy Rubin and Intel CEO Paul Otellini announced the synergy between the companies while holding a Medfield-powered smartphone running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Intel is working concurrently with Google in order to optimize future processors for use with Android.

Intel is also purportedly optimizing its structure and will be able to run Android on Atom chipsets.

HTC Runnymede and Bliss Leaked, pack Beats Audio
The first image of the HTC Runnymede has surfaced on the inter-webs. The image clearly shows that the device will also house beats audio.

Specs include

- 1.5GHZ Qualcomm chip
- 8 megapixel camera with f2.2 lens and double LED flash
- UK prices are £499 or £530 for the 16 or 32GB versions.

Details of the new HTC Bliss have also leaked, the Bliss is aimed at the female buyer and will have an attractive appeal a 3.7-inch Super LCD display and a 5 megapixel camera. The device will come with a bluetooth powered notification Charm Indicator, a light-up of sorts that fits to a handbag or bracelet and blinks when you receive a call.

How convenient is that ? Especially for us girls when we really don’t hear our phones buried in the junk of our handbags.

Sony Tablet S Arrives 16th Sept worldwide, October in India

Why do companies do this to us, on one hand mobile phones arrive to India faster than the US. Whereas technology arrives later, The Sony made Tablet S, which is gathering a lot of attention in the US, especially because of its bookish design, is all set to arrive 16th September in the US and UK.

Bharat plans to get his hands on with the device since he is there for a Tech-Confrence and meeting. But in the meantime for those who are already in the US can get a glimpse of the tablet at Best-Buy who are displaying the device prior to launch.

Update: we have confirmed new that this device is now called the Micromax A85 , the specs remain final.

Whats up butterflies of the inter-webs, we have exclusive news for you folks. Micromax is working on a dual core smartphone for the Indian Market. Currently dubbed “PowerPhone” expect a “Poseidon”, “Titan” or “Hercules” type of name on launch.

The new device will be based around a phone made in the depths of Chinese Manufactories. Micromax will add its design hues but more or less the specs will remain the same.

Rumored Specs will include:
- A Tegra 2 Processor with Geforce8
- Android 2.3 Gingerbread
- 1 GHZ dual core – 2 x Arm Cortex A9 processors
- 512 MB RAM- 8 Gb onboard storage
- 3.8 inch screen with 480×800 pixel resolution
- Capacitive Touch Screen with 4 Multitouch points
- 5 Megapixel camera with tap focus and intelligent illumination
Rumors point to a possible drop of the onboard storage to make the device affordable. There is also a front facing camera and a 1650mah battery.

Whatever may be the case the device is set to launch later this year with a price tag of less than Rs. 18,000/-

Fujitsu is all prepped to launch a waterproof Tablet, making it the first company with such a device. The waterproof tablet called the Arrows Tab for some wicked reason, is completely soak proof. The device also boasts decent specs

Team-Touchdroid dual boots Android on TouchPad

While we still un-package our touch pads, Team Touchdroid has managed to dual boot WebOS and Android 2.3 on he Touchpad. Since the Fire sale, touch pads are all over the place and everyones got in on the action. Especially folks trying to boot Cyanogen Mod 7 on the Touchpads. But looks like its going to be stock droid for now.

For the time being the touchscreen is not working, but expect a quick fix. If you managed to score a Touchpad this might interest you.

Amazon Tablet to launch in November for 12,000 Rupees

Despite confirmed news on the Amazon India launch still pending, Amazon will initiate a worldwide launch of the Amazon Tablet “coyote” and premium tab “hollywood” in November. The cheaper “Cayoue” tab will cost about 12000 rupees. The Tablet runs a heavily skinned version of Android , in a cover flow-esque UI. The Tablet was designed, initiated and made possible due to an outsource R&D company.

Amazon has already passed on the information of the impending launch of Amazon India, Its just a matter of time now.
