Really is it actually possible? Nissan and Ministry of sound have tied up to do the unthinkable for the world of cases, its called the self-healing iPhone case. The case features a polyrotaxane-based paint finish that helps maintain the case itself, covering over small scratches in as little as an hour. Currently only available in Japan the cover is for an exclusive deal with Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo. Nissan is also considering a commercial launch this year, just imagine the usefulness of such a paint on Indian cars.

Leaked Case Mate Images confirm iPhone 5 design, just before they pull them
If one thing is for sure, all other speculation can be put to rest when CaseMate “accidentally” leaks the iPhone 5 design. In an attempt to gather eyeballs (we believe ) the accessory manufacturer updated its website with a series of new cases. The link was soon after replaced with an announcement stating :
The wait is almost over as the next generation iPhone 5 / iPhone 4S will be released in the coming weeks. The new iPhone promises more technology than ever, all in the palm of your hand. The guessing game continues whether Apple will unveil the iPhone 5 or the iPhone 4S. But that didn’t happen before people could grab the images off the website. The new design is identical to the rumors from before, a thin tapered device with now what appears to be an aluminum back.
Casemate is one of the better known manufacturers, so these image only add confirmation if anything to the upcoming device from Cupertino.

Thinner iPhone 5 Confirmed by Leaked silicone cases
Several cases for the next gen of iPhone have been leaked online, looking at the images the case looks definitely thinner than the existing iPhone 4s case. Although they are also identical to the shape an design of the iPod touch, suggesting an iPod touch with camera flash. Several manufacturers have also claimed to be shipping their cases for retail for the iPhone 5.
The device is expected to be announced in August and shipped in September, Either way its going to be an exciting quarter.
