Feast Your Eyes on Ashton Kutcher in the New Moto X Force Promotional Video

Motorola has gone all out with Moto X Force promotion. The company has now released a video for the phone which has Ashton Kutcher in it. Yes, you heard us right. Technology meets this Hollywood sweatheart as they put people’s phones through drop-tests. Check out the video below.

The video proposes a theory that people are actually in love with their phones. This theory gets attested as people are put through lie detection tests and asked unease-inducing questions. The reactions were more than just entertaining, to say the least.

Moto X Force, first unveiled globally as Droid Turbo 2 last year, released in India on the 1st of February. The highlight of the phone is its shatter-proof display, which Motorola claims, is the first of its kind in the world for a smartphone. Check out our drop test for the device where we dropped it from a height of 1000 feet and judge for yourself. Click here for a complete review of Moto X Force.

Motorola launched the Moto X Force in India today at a price of Rs 49,999 for the 32GB variant. The smartphone’s main attraction is its ‘Shattershield’ technology. The 5.4-inch 2,560 x 1,440 panel (QHD) panel is protected by a five layer system which has allowed Motorola to brand it the “world’s first shatterproof smartphone display” thanks to what Moto calls the ShatterShield technology. The company claims the screen would stay intact for up to four years absorbing shock and providing protection against cracks.

With so much going on with the construction of the Moto X Force, there’s really only one way to test it out – a good old fashioned drop test. We took the device up to a 1000-foot high from where we let it drop. Take a look at the video below to see whether the Moto X Force survived the fall.

Yu Televentures recently launched its latest budget offering the Yuphoria, at a mere Rs. 6,999. According to our review, the YU Yuphoria may be a budget handset, but its build quality and design feels like a lot more. The phone has a fantastic construction for its price, an all-metal frame, made from stamped parts, which have been laser welded into place. The edges give the phone a lot of rigidity and strength, which in turn gives a reassuring feeling to the holder. The back has a soft touch rubberized back panel, which is not prone to fingerprints.

That was our initial feedback of the device. Now we decided to really test the sturdiness of the phone. What better way to do that than to have the phone take a drop test?
