Under the hood, the device has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset, 1.4GHz octa-core processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. The onboard storage can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The fingerprint sensor sits at the back of the device just below the camera and flash. At the front of the device, there are no buttons, meaning the phone will have onscreen navigation buttons.
In terms of optics, the smartphone has a rear-facing 13MP camera with dual-LED flash and PDAF. The front of the device houses a 5MP camera.
The Holly 4 is priced at Rs 11999 in India and will be available offline only in three colour variants – Black, Gold and Silver. Honor has launched the device in the festive season to give consumers another option in the budget smartphone category. If the recent Amazon and Flipkart sales are anything to go by, it is certain that Indians like buying smartphones during the festive season. Honor 8 pro has officially been launched in India for a price of Rs. 29,999.The phone will be sold on Amazon on Prime Day for a limited sale model.
The Honor 8 Pro has a whopping 128 GB of storage along with 6GB of RAM. The Honor 8 Pro runs on the Kirin 960 chipset which is an octacore chip – four high-performance Cortex A73 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four low-power Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.8Ghz.
The Camera setup consists of two cameras, 12+12 MP shooters, where one is a monochrome camera while the other is RGB. The Honor 8 Pro can combine the aperture to deliver an extremely wide f/0.95. The Phone also shoot 4K video at 30fps. The front camera is an 8 MP shooter with an f/2.0 aperture and capable of 1920 x 1080p video.
The phone also has a large 4000 mAh battery and fast charge capabilities, with long battery modes built into Honor’s user interface.
The Honor 8 pro has Android Nougat out of the box along with EMUI 5.1 which has some interesting shortcuts and customizations. More importantly the Honor 8 pro has a 5.7 inch QHD display which beats the competition right our of the park.\
