HTC One Max Power Case, Gives 30 Percent Extra Battery Life

Along with the HTC One Max itself, HTC has also launched a bunch of accessories including the new flip cover like Power case for the giant HTC One Max.

The power case uses paper type batteries that are installed inside the front flip of the cover itself and does not add much bulk to the device. It is fairly easy to use accessory as the device uses a three pin system and gets charged by the phones battery, which terminates the need to put in a wire and charge it separately. The Power Case from HTC adds approximately 1200 mAh of extra battery to the already available 3300 mAh battery of the HTC One Max, which to some extent fulfills a need of carrying a portable charger.

Alongside the battery benefits, the flip cover also gives a premium look the One Max itself and makes it a good experience to watch movies and surf web in the landscape mode.

HTC’s New Infographic Hails ‘Great Trios In History’, Hints At The One Max

HTC has once again created an infographic that gives a hint of an upcoming device – possibly the heavily leaked 6-inch One Max that will join the One and the One mini. This time the graphic shows several popular trios in life and also brings their current “Here’s to Change”marketing strategy into play by breaking down HTC into various acronyms: Snap, Crackle and Pop (Hearing Tasty Cereal); Three Amigos (Hip Thrust Coordination) and Destiny’s Child (Hello Top of the Charts).

The One Max is expected to be unveiled next week and rumoured to come with a 6-inch 1080p display, a 1.7Ghz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, UltraPixel camera with a 2MP front-facing camera, running Android OS 4.3 with Sense 5.5. The One Max is also rumoured to include a finger-print sensor.

Facing declining sales and increased competition, HTC has been trying to step up its marketing game, recently debuting an ad campaign starring Robert Downey Jr.

  • Rumour : HTC One Max Will Rival iPhone 5S With Fingerprint Sensor

Rumour : HTC One Max Will Rival iPhone 5S With Fingerprint Sensor

The HTC One Max is coming — this is known — but whether it will have a few features to differentiate it from the growing line of jumbo Android devices remains to be seen.

In a recently-leaked photo, the HTC One Max appears to have a fingerprint reader around back, underneath the UltraPixel camera sensor. It’s unclear whether it will perform similarly to that of the iPhone 5s, or even the Motorola Atrix, which debuted in 2011, but that it is becoming a trend is clear.

In the midst of Apple unveiling it’s iPhone 5S, which features a fingerprint scanner, the stakes are suddenly higher for several competitor manufactures for whom fingerprint scanner rumors have circulated for months. Notably, many other rumored fingerprint scanners appear to be in different locations on their devices. The fingerprint scanner on the iPhone 5S can be found superimposed into the power button on the device, while the supposed fingerprint scanner on the HTC One is located on the back panel.

Based on rumors, HTC One Max will feature a 5.9-inch full HD display sporting a resolution of 1080 x 1920, quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset with a clock speed of 2.3GHz, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with a microSD card slot, a massive 3,300 mAh battery and an UltraPixel camera on the back. On the software side, the purported HTC One Max will run Android 4.3 out of the box.

  • HTC One Max Leaks Online, Reveals 5.9″ Display

HTC One Max Leaks Online, Reveals 5.9″ Display

HTC’s new lineup of devices this year has many people looking twice. The all-aluminum build of the flagship One is certainly their best designed smartphone, while the One mini attracts the entry-level market with decent specs.

Over the past several months there’s been rumours that HTC will also come to market with a phablet – potentially called the HTC One Max. According to a post on ePrice, the HTC One Max may make an official announcement at IFA in Germany this September, but to tide us over they’ve posted the first round of leaked images.

Specs-wise, the HTC One Max shows a lot of improvements over HTC One, starting with the 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, which is paired with 2GB of RAM.

The upcoming mobile phone also features a full HD resolution on its large screen, along with an UltraPixel photo snapper on the back, and a 2.1MP front camera for making video calls.

HTC One Max is also rumored to feature 16GB of internal memory, most probably paired with a microSD memory card slot in this model, which is China-specific (the international model should feature more internal storage and no microSD card support).

Apparently, this flavor of the smartphone will also feature dual-SIM capabilities, along with a detachable back cover, so as to offer access to the microSD and SIM slots.

The handset will also include a 3300 mAh battery inside, and might even land on the market with support for a stylus, though no confirmation on this has been provided as of now.
