Sony Brings World’s First Back-Illuminated Full Frame Camera to India at Rs. 2,39,990

Sony launches its new full-frame mirrorless camera called the Alpha 7R II.

This new camera will feature the world’s first back-illuminated full-frame Exymor R CMOS sensor with a high resolution of approximately 42.4MP, high sensitivity expandable up to ISO 102400 and a high-speed 399 focal plane phase detection AF points.

It includes a 5-axis image stabilization that has the ability to shoot and record 4K videos in various formats including the Super 35mm (without pixel binning) and full-frame format. It also comes with the world’s highest viewfinder magnification at 0.78x with a newly refined XGA OLED Tru-Finder.

The camera comes with a bunch of free bundled accessories like a free carry case (MII-SC5), a free Micro HDMI cable, a free 64GB SDXC high speed memory card, a Battery Charger (BC-VW1) and two rechargeable batteries.

With its high resolution, high sensitivity and high speed response coupled with enhanced design and operability, it is to be seen how the device captures the market. Priced at Rs. 2,39,990, it can be ordered through Alpha Flagship Stores and Brand Stores.
