The Avengers’ Holographic Display

Throughout the Avengers movie you can see Tony Star swiping through screens and adjusting sliders on his holographic displays. Since then or maybe even earlier, people have been trying to make something of the sort. Finally the closest they have come is the BMW 3 Series, where you can see the current speed, the posted speed and an arrow pointing the way for navigation. Apart from this companies and munition factories are experimenting with pop-up displays on the windshield and pop-up HUD on modern  warplanes. Oh and how can we forget the star of consumer orientated augmented reality experience – Google Glass.
