Agree, Doesn’t worth 8k looking at the great budget phones around. 9k Asus Zen phone 2 Laser, 10K Zen phone Max, 7k Redmi 3s, 9k Redmi 3sPrime.. and many similar phones.

    Negative Points

    – No Compass
    – Quad core – the world now a days is of Octa core – Atleast Snapdragon should be provided
    – Phone Lags

Other companies manufacture their phones in China but the companies may or may not be Chinese.
A few companies are also producing in India under the ‘Make in India’ campaign.
Almost every country will accept a proposal to manufacture phones for a company, it will serve as a boost to the economy.

Ali, would you consider buying Micromax over Xaomi for the same spec if it was for only 5k ? Probably no right ? :P btw its MT processor for E3 this time. I hate MT but its not bad either..sony and HTC are using them in most of their phones.

@Santhosh kumar Bhaskaran, buddy how are you making it a better place by giving unjustifiable income to Chineese origin companies ?

    Varun Jain

Agreed Tejas…but do you agree Motorola itself isnt chineese. You should also agree every other phone in the world has come from China. You go to china tell them to make a phone your own branding they will do it :)

haha no bro its not like me lol I have had bad experience with brands like le eco and micromax..so I really dont trust them anymore. If you agree Motorola is not just phone. brand..every little component in electronics have motorola or TI chips. :p

It seems more of a downgrade than a upgrade . Except for the camera …

Jst go to gsm arena and compare both side by side…. Previous Gen Moto e2 4g varient had snapdragon 410 chipset and 1gig of ram …. Now they have given the same chipset to Moto g 4 play ….. And they have given downgraded mediatek chipset in e3 …. Only upgrade that’s visible is the display which is 5 inch … Compared to earlier 4.5 inch in e2 … Which was completely unnecessary becoz the Moto e series was known as compact phones…. Lenovo even made those 5 inch….. Got my point ???

Haa haa. even under the name of Chinese lenovo. moto is still moto. Has its own ways. Has a separate fan following. Redmi 3s and prime are definitely better. but moto is having its own strength.
