you cannot port out from cdma which is a pure data card by sending port number to 1900. The cdma device is without any SIM (Photon) so no sms can be sent as it is not possible to insert any SIM in any mobile. Inserting into a laptop say will only provide data. It looks like the information given above is misleading and tatdocomo is also taking customers for a ride and just appropriating the cost of the dongle with no compensation for stopping service and charging Rs 1999 for the new GSM device with same number. Why are these information kept hidden from all customers? Does tatadocomo have a solution ?
