   The price difference between defy plus and neo V, at best is around Rs1.5K. Motodefy takes poor snaps in low light/ indoor shots.  So if you are not concerned about clicking pics in low light situations and front camera, then go for defy plus. Its a tough phone, but the screen attracts smudge from fingerprints.  Just a note, most of the gameloft games are not supported for defy plus (of course only if u plan to buy it from android market. Cracked games do work).I am happy with the overall perorformance of the phone but not with the camera!

   Hi, Let me share my experience with defy plus.

   Earphones: Very basic earphone (not in ear type)

   Sound quality and reception: Quite good as expected from Motorlola phone

   Camera: Well, this is where defy underscores. Camera quality is good in
   broad daylight. Indoor shots are grainy. If u use flash, then close up
   shots are fine. In a nutshell, if I compare the camera quality to other
   phones in the same price range, then its not up to the mark for indoor
   shots. Its same as my bro’s Lg optimus one.  So don’t expect camera to
   be like that of Lg optmus black or a sony neo. The differece in quality
   is clearly visible for indoor shots.

   Interface: I heard people complaining about Motoblur. I was determined
   to install go launcher once i get my hands on the device. But
   ironically, motoblur turned out to be  awesome.  It looks classic and
   neat. I agree the fancy animations of go lancher is amazing but still, i
   would like to stick to Motoblur. Its neat and very organised.

   As a Music player: The sound quality is decent. The are some pre-sets in
   the inbuilt equaliser. So u wont mind replacing ur mp3 player (ofcourse
   there plenty of audio apps in market).

   Battery life: Battery life is ok. Dont expect that the 1700 mah battery
   is going to make a huge difference. The battery lasts for one and
   quarter day with normal use.

   SO if u are getting defy plus for less than rs 16k and u tend to drop ur
   phone more often then its a good mobile. There is not much difference
   between the defy and defy plus, the only remarkable difference is the OS
   (if u prefer motoblur over cynogen mod).

   One more thing, the phone has a screen size of 3.7 inch but the phone
   doesnot look that big as the screen occupied almost the entire phone.
   Also, u can see screws drilled on the sides of the body for protection
   which may not be very appealing for many.

   Hope the points were useful for u guys to decide.

   Motorola got boosted up aftr switchin to ANDROID?. it is my first android so i’m just looking for a good experience with decent performance. BTW? the videos are awesome! Keep ’em coming
