Micromax Promises Canvas 4 Replacement If Problems Are Not Fixed Within 7 Days At Service Centers

At an event in New Delhi today, Micromax announced their new flagship device, the Micromax Canvas 4.Ā 

Micromax Canvas 4’s key feature is a blow to unlock software. That and a 5 MP camera in the front ensure that the users have nothing to complain about lack of basic features. The main camera is a 13 MP autofocus camera and the back panel is glazed just like onĀ SamsungĀ GalaxyĀ phones.

The Micromax Canvas 4 A210 has a HD 720p display on a 5-inch screen. The phone sports the MediaTek MT6589 SoC. There will be 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage and a 2000 mAh battery. It will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The phone is 144 mm high (5.67 inches ) and 76 mm wide (2.87 inches).

We’ve often heard people complain about the after sales service provided by Micromax, and it seems that Micromax is trying to improve their reputation. At the event today, Micromax announced that if you submit your Micromax Canvas 4 for repairs at one of their service centers and the device is not fixed within 7 days, they will give you a brand new replacement free of cost.

At the moment, this scheme is only available for Canvas 4 devices, but Micromax said they will be rolling out this feature to other devices in the coming months.Ā 

Lets hope Micromax stands true on their promise!

    Lets wait and see submitted a 30 days old phone to service center, which was really shoddy (in NCR) I doubt they will replace it, there customer support is non existent.

    This News is false. I have submitted my canvas 4 handset in Noida service center and it is still with them. its now more than 10 days they are not able to repair it nor they are replacing it.

    Service center people even don’t inform about the status. The work experience with Micromamx, the worst hand set maker in the world

    the news cation for re-fixing within 7 days is a mis leading caption. now they says repair will take mini 25 days.

    no update status is available at call center. everybody repeats the same sentence, that it will take 25 days to repair, to change the screen. i feel when co. knows well that so many 1000s of phone will come for repair, infrastructure should be in palce to deliver in a reasonable time frame, rather then jab ho jayega tab batayenge, this indicates no plg…. all left to chance …

    the best deal mmx can adopt will be, deposit ur phone with problems n take away ur money back with thanks, what is wrong in this if they r so much confident in their own system. if not , that means they hv doubt in themselves.

    i purchased canvas 4 on 15th oct. just after two months uses it developed screen problem. it displays bad raster with so many lines on the screen. i deposited phone in Nagpur smart services on 24th Dec. they says it will take around one month to diagnose and repair it. here on advertisement some body says it will be replaced withing 7 days.can i be hopeful that micromax will stand to its word and replace within 7 days. or they should advertise that its not possible. who can reply it i hv sent mails to directly to them also.

    I purchased Micromax canvas 4 it is switching off at least 10 times a day when I tried to use some applications and contacts plz suggest me how to solve this.

    My Canvas 4 Doesn’t start at all give it to service center they’re saying it would take minimum 20 Days Can anyone tell is there a replacement for new one with free of cost if service is not done within 7Days………

    Its wrong and fake information. The service centers are taking minimum 20 days to repair the canvas 4. 20 days is the minimum and average time is upto 2 months. my phone canvas 4 imei 911316300179098 is already submitted at radio center, allahabad for more than 10 days. and they are saying it will take 20 more days. the same was purchased on 18th aug 2013. dont buy canvas 4. They will make fool out of you.

    I think those all are strategic steps by micromax…their new flagship
    handset is always costlier than its predecessor……but this time they
    missed the specifications to justify the price of the handset…!The day
    is not far when the micromax will launch a handset at a price tag of
    30000-35000…:-)…But of course no one will buy it….!
