HTC at an event today in New Delhi has launched three new devices in its Desire series – Desire 820, Desire 820Q and Desire 816G. While the Desire 816G is already available in the market, the first two will ship during the first week of November in India.
The Desire 816G is a brand new variant of the company’s previously released blockbuster, Desire 816. The GSM-only dual-sim version of Desire 816, has toned down specifications and hardware. The smartphone packs 5.5-inch HD display, 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, 13MP rear camera F/2.2, 5MP front shooter. It comes with 1GB RAM with 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded upto 32GB with microSD card.
The device is powered by 2600 mAh battery, same as the other handsets launched today. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. The Desire 816G is already available at the price tag of Rs. 18,990.
