Google Translate for Android Update adds more Speech to Speech Language support

Google Translate on Android gets update version 2.2, with support for over 14 languages in terms of speech to speech translations. The new interface will allow you to save any translations before they are said out loud. A demo video shows of how simple it can be. Personally till we get our Hands on Siri, we wont comment on any direct blows to it.

The event has been moved to the 19th and some are speculating that despite Google and Samsung used Steve Jobs’ passing as an excuse the real reason was their FCC clearance delays.

Samsung and Google Delay Galaxy Nexus launch to pay homage to Steve Jobs passing away: oh and Galaxy Nexus Video Leaked!

Google and Samsung were all set to launch their prized possession at their “unpacked event”, until Steve Jobs passed away. The company has decided to pay homage to the Technology Titans death by postponing the launch of the supposed Samsung Galaxy Device.

Samsung and Google decide to postpone the new product announcement at CTIA Fall. We agree that it is just not the right time to announce a new product. New date and venue will be shortly announced.

A Spokesperson from Google later commented:

We believe this is not the right time to announce a new product as the world expresses tribute to Steve Jobs’s passing,”

Okay now that the event is not happening, does not mean that some eager individual lacking voice cannot post a sneak peek of the device (Galaxy Nexus)

Google has brilliant taste in computers, but bad taste in Sneakers : Proof

These Sneakers were designed by Evan Steinberg, Google Community Manager for Android and signed by Larry Page. The nike dunks are possibly the worst looking design of the legendary shoes ever.

For starters you have Larry Paige on the tongue of the Shoe, a retro google logo, google maps if you can spot them and not to forget the totally awful color scheme.

Lets hope this is one droid that does not make it mainstream.

Beats integration, combined with amazing 4.7-inch display, introduces powerful entertainment experience

LONDON – October 6, 2011 – HTC Corporation, a global designer of mobile devices, today unveiled the HTC Sensation™ XL with Beats Audio™ integration.  This latest innovation is the result of the new partnership between HTC and Beats announced in August and takes mobile entertainment to a new level with an amazing 4.7-inch screen and a specifically optimized audio experience.  The HTC Sensation XL joins the HTC Sensation XE to provide customers with a strong line-up of HTC smartphones integrated with Beats Audio.

“With Beats Audio, the HTC Sensation XL continues HTC’s commitment of delivering the best audio possible on your phone whether you’re listening to music, watching a movie or playing a game,” said Peter Chou, CEO, HTC Corporation. “This is an amazing example of why our partnership with Beats makes so much sense for customers today and into the future.”

Customers can also send music recommendations and track information to friends over SMS, email or through their Facebook profile. To allocate the perfect audio alert to an incoming call or message from friends and family, use the ringtone trimmer to edit a music track and add it to a friend’s contact profile.

    • Google Chrome
Although Google has been mostly successful and has given a lot back to the world by letting most of its services go free to the masses. Where would the internet be today without the likes of Google, Right?
Google has had its failures too – Wave, Buzz, Nexus One, Google TV and most importantly the bunch of companies it bought and shut down. But hey, who cares about failures when your achievement portfolio is stronger than ever.
  • Exclusive : Galaxy 730 and Galaxy PMPs to Hit India end October

Exclusive : Galaxy 730 and Galaxy PMPs to Hit India end October

Some great news for those waiting in for the Galaxy Players / PMPs running Android and boasting a 5 inch/4 inch screens, the devices will be available along with the Galaxy 730 aka Galaxy Tab 8.9 inch in the last week of october. This information comes from the very depths of the Samsung HQ in NCRand packs a punch especially because there is a tad bit of information regarding the pricing on the PMPs.

We got our hands on with the PMP back at the Samsung Forums, check out the video below.

    Spec Sheet

Now here is the awesome part the PMPs are speculated to have the following price : Galaxy Player 4 for 12,500 and Galaxy Player 5 for 15,000 Indian currency. We think that its excellent pricing.

Pricing of the Galaxy 730the MRP remains the same from initial PR  : Tab 730 at INR 33,990 which seems a lot more since the 750 sells for much cheaper than that price.
