Vikendi is the latest map added by Tencent to the highly popular game. It is a snow map and has it’s own little features. Vikendi, a 6x6km map, has a quicker gameplay than Erangel and Miramar, but offers a more tactical experience than Sanhok. Being a snow based map, players can throw snowballs while waiting to board the plane in the starting area. Other snow based features are also incorporated from the real life. For example, vehicles will be more slippery in snow or icy areas. Acceleration on icy terrain is slow as well. Footprints and vehicle tracks appear as players travel in snow-covered areas which can also enhance the gameplay as the player can track footprints to understand opponent’s position.
