Breaking : Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Plus, adds Quad Core to the Best Selling Canvas

Micromax last year launched the Micromax Canvas 2 A110, which is one of their best selling smartphones till date. The Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Plus takes this success and adds a quad-core MT6589 chipset clocked at 1.2 GHz into the mix. 

Adding some of the great features of the Canvas HD, the Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Plus, also has the 8 MP camera at back with a front facing 2 MP shooter. A 2000 mAh battery powers the Handset and is coupled with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of mass storage, which according to the company can be increased with a 32GB SD card. Just like recent Canvas launches, the A110Q will also automatically take a Class 10 microSD card and replace the internal storage with it, so you will not need to root the phone to install and download high end games. 

The one major difference with the Micromax Canvas HD A116 is the display, the Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Plus retains the 5 inch 480 x 854 px display effectively reducing the display quality in comparison. The phone available for purchase on the Micromax online store for a price of Rs. 12100, with expected delivery set at 1 week. The phone is expected to hit the markets soon, expect a full featured unboxing and comparison with a lineup of devices soon.

    Does this Phone has USB On-the-go Option ? And also wanted to know whether this phone have gravity sensor or not. Does the GPS work ? In some reviews, they said the Magnetic sensor and GPS not working in this Handset. Is that True?

    So does canvas HD automatically convert a class10 external SD card to internal memory without rooting??

    Is it Dual Standby? I mean their is a problem in a110, when internet is working in one sim the other sim’s network goes unreachable. So, is this problem solved in Canvas 2 Plus?

      Priya Monani – this problem happens becoz when u use one sim in your phone, then the other sim become idle automatically, in other words it becomes unreachable. I mean, though the phone is dual sim and it has a dual standby, u can use only one sim at a time. Only samsung dual sim phones which have a smart dual sim option, u can use both the sims at the same time. U will have to manually change the dual sim call setting in your phone if u want to use both the sims at the same time and solve ur problem which u r facing. hope this suggestion helps.

    Official confirmation from Micromax states different specifications, such has camera listed on MMX website is 720p not 1080p.

          Dude,  IPS is not a screen resolution it’s a type of screen panels, which has advantages like better color reproduction & better viewing angles.
          Whereas WVGA is a screen resolution

          ShobhitPaul MdAkbarUddin vfirke I was tellinh him the same thing that IPS(In-Plane Switching) is a display technology whereas WVGA(854 x 480pixels) is the screen resolution.
